There are the following categories for Canadian immigration:

  • Economic
  • Family
  • Refugee
  • Humanitarian and Compassionate Grounds

Aging population, low birth rate and negative economy has big impact on Immigration decisions in Canada.

Earlier this year, Canada had to close its border due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Which resulted in a shortage of new immigrants. Current year events have a key role in this new immigration levels plan.
